Hearing Loss Claims

Have you experienced a loss of hearing, or ringing in your ears? Do you struggle to hear the tv, use the phone or listen to conversation in a crowded room? Did you work in any of the following:-

  • Industrial Factory (Goodyear, Courtaulds, Saracens, Ben Sherman, Dennys, Smurfit etc)
  • Farming Industry
  • Construction
  • Aerospace Engineering

If so, you may be suffering from Noise Induced Hearing Loss, commonly known as Industrial Deafness, and you may be entitled to Compensation.

What is Noise Induced Hearing Loss

Commonly, we all experience a degree of age-related hearing loss as we get older, known as presbycusis. However, if you worked in an excessively noisy environment, such as a factory, and did not get the appropriate or adequate hearing protection, your hearing loss can be accelerated substantially and tinnitus can occur. Often, symptoms do not emerge until years after exposure.

Do I have a claim?

In the past many companies unknowingly failed to provide employees with the means to protect their hearing.

Fortunately, it is still possible to claim for compensation despite the lack of health & safety laws during times gone.

Simply contact one of our expert team at Campbell & Haughey Solicitors, who will advise you of your rights and guide you through the process, at no cost to you.

How much compensation am I entitled to?

The compensation award varies for each case and is determined by factors such as the extent of your hearing loss, if it is accompanied by tinnitus and to what percentage your employment has contributed to your hearing loss.

However, you can rest assured that our expert team will ensure that you receive the maximum compensation possible.
